Booking Terms and Conditions


Newvalley Cottage is let normally for a seven day period from Saturday to Saturday, arrival time being 4pm (arrival times maybe earlier out of season, please check) and departure 10.00am.


JUNE, JULY & AUGUST £490
ALL OTHER MONTHS £450
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR WEEKS £600


Short term breaks may be available for a minimum of a 3-night stay. Please enquire.

The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 persons not to be exceeded without permission, and is for holiday purposes only.

NO SMOKING within the property (there is a green house/sitting area in garden).

NO PETS allowed

Children welcome (bedrooms at opposite ends of cottage) and bathroom next to double room.



WHAT IS INCLUDED ?

All linen, towels, electricity and heating included along with an adequate amount of cleaning products (washing liquid, dish washer tablets, anti-bacterial spray etc) to be left in cottage on departure.

A change of linen and towels will be left for stays of more than a week.


BOOKING

A non-returnable deposit is to be paid within 10 days of receiving confirmation of booking; this confirms a contract in terms of which you are liable to pay the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. This deposit will be acknowledged in writing with an account for the due balance and the date it is to be paid on or before.

If booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival payment will be due in full. The booking is accepted on the clear understanding that should the accommodation become unlettable through circumstances beyond our control of the property you shall be entitled to a refund not exceeding the amount paid.

For your own protection we recommend that you take out a holiday insurance which may cover you should you have to cancel the booking.

CHEQUE made payable to Peter J Morrison and sent to:
2 Bayview Crescent, Broadford, Isle of Skye, IV49 9BD

The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to their property and require any persons to leave when they consider there is a breach of contract, or deem there is damage to the properties or cause of nuisance or conduct of an offensive manner.

The proprietors also reserve the right to enter their premises at any given time.


DAMAGE & BREAKAGES

If either of these occur the holiday tenant will be held liable and will therefore be invoiced and charged to replace or repair the item. If either of these occurs they should be reported in the Damage & Breakages book, if upon arrival something has been found to be broken or damaged and not in the book please let us know as soon as possible, so as you are not held responsible.


THE PROPERTY SHOULD BE LEFT AS IT WAS FOUND IN A CLEAN AND TIDY STATE (IF COTTAGE NOT IN THIS STATE UPON ARRIVAL PLEASE LET US KNOW).



CAR PARKING

Newvalley Cottage has parking space for two vehicles beside the cottage. Vehicles parked there are at the owners' own risk and therefore we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.


LIABILITY

We the owners of Newvalley Cottage do not accept any liability for any persons, loss or damage of possessions unless negligence is proven against us.
